The original Snuggle Me® Infant Lounger has been part of family life for more than a decade. As industry regulations evolved, we made the decision to retire the product in the United States and Canada and move forward with a redesigned generation of loungers.
Important note: The original Infant Lounger is discontinued only in the USA and Canada.

Why was the old Snuggle Me® Infant Lounger retired?
In May 2025, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) introduced updated regulations called the Infant Cushion Rule. These changes affected multiple brands and product categories across the baby industry.
The updates introduced new definitions, design standards, and labeling requirements for loungers.
Rather than modify the existing product incrementally, we chose to retire the original Infant Lounger in the U.S. and Canada and focus on future designs aligned with current regulations.

Was the old Snuggle Me® Infant Lounger recalled?
No.
The old Snuggle Me® Infant Lounger was not recalled, and no enforcement action was taken.
Families who already own the lounger can continue using it as intended during supervised, awake-time use while following Snuggle Me’s safety guidance.
Why did the design change?
After more than ten years of learning from families and listening to parent feedback, we saw this moment as an opportunity to evolve thoughtfully.
Instead of making small updates, we created a next-generation design built with today’s standards in mind while preserving the comfort and care families expect from Snuggle Me.
This led to the Snuggle Me® Infant Lounger Curve.
